Absolutly gorgeous hatchet job

Current status: at the doctor's office for lab work. Usual requirement is that I be fasting. Not normally a big deal. But today they have food videos playing too loud in their waiting area. This is patient cruelty!! 😭

Found this tiny, newly hatched fella in the skimmer this morning. He chose to snooze in my hand as I carried him to the marsh across the street. #BBNWR #turtles

This cat looks like it probably would tear anyone else to shreds, but she's his human.

Odds are strong that the apron is made of sack cloth. And the trimmings from the pattern were pieced into a quilt somehow.

Got a silly little clip-on macro lens for the phone. Not bad. It was windy so it was hard to keep that little blossom still. But I am encouraged to keep playing with it.

Happy #caturday. Rebel likes me to give her a hand so she can press her feet against it. But do not hold, pet, or otherwise touch the feet. The feet are strictly off-limits for lovins.

I've seen steppers & bicycle pedals while thrifting before. Maybe try to find a cheap one to see if you like it? Personally I'd probably pick the bicycle pedals. I feel like the stepper would have me rocking side to side & it would be hard to put my hook where I want it amidst all that wiggling. 😄

My small town library was the biggest branch in the system. Waldenbooks was a treat at 1hr away. The closest giant bookstore (Books-A-Million) was 2hrs and was a euphoric utopia. Late 80s/ early 90s. When Overdrive and Libby came along, I rejoiced.

If you also crochet, you could make a mandala/doily and stretch it on an embroidery hoop to hang on your wall. Another idea is to make various lacy motifs and stitch them onto jeans, jackets, bags...
