The building housing the historic Freedom Riders Museum appears to be part of a DOGE-ordered sell-off of federal properties.
Each new day, we are confronted with another horror from this administration. This is not “cost-cutting;” this is an attempted erasure of our collective memory of the Civil Rights Movement. The Freedom Riders call to us—we must join as partners in solidarity in the continued movement for justice.

Today marks the 500th anniversary of Anabaptism. We honor those who resisted church and state violence, rejecting corruption to embody Jesus’ radical way. They built communities of mutual care, economic sharing, and discipleship from below. May we learn from their courage today. #Anabaptism500
