As a Chelsea fan Nicolas Jackson has such huge potential. He could be amazing. I kinda want to keep him but for him he should probably go.

Difficult to judge Chelsea’s start. I think we’re not giving enough credit to Palace for being brilliant at stopping us. We also won’t play many teams as bad as West Ham were last night. Still though… lots of positives.

We did look fairly dangerous from corners against Palace for the first time in years. I hope that carries on and converts into goals again.

Palace have done a fine job of stopping Chelsea so far. This is the test of Maresca and our new signings to show we can get around this kind of defence.

Been saying it for a while but soon everyone will be copying Chelsea. They rubbish the money on young unproven players, the 8 year contracts, the huge amount of loan players, the big squad. Everyone will be doing it in a few years.

I think he’ll constantly be changing the lineup. Last year we had an A team and B team for Europe. This year will be more fluid in the changes I reckon.

Yeah everyone looked good and on it. Gittens looks like he’s gonna cause defenders problems, Essugo looked a solid deputy for Caicedo. Good all over the pitch.

Yeah that’s definitely the plan. Not have a set 11 and keep people guessing. Interesting Joao Pedro is playing 10 with Neto further forward for example.

I think as we only have two games we’ll see a totally different lineup next game but they want players to get minutes in the legs so give players more than just 45mins.

Yeah obviously trying Trev at LCB now we’ve lost Colwill. He doesn’t look as comfortable but hopefully that’ll come.

He's not bang average but is still developing. From December last year every team playing Chelsea played 5 at the back in a low block and his form suffered. That's why we've gone for Delap and Joao Pedro who offer more for that. He'd be great at Newcastle though I reckon. Potential to be amazing.
