He/him. Occasionally amusing. Mainly food bikes and dogs Kirikiriroa (Hamilton NZ) Pinned Skeet - I know we can't buy our way out of the climate crisis, but the joy I feel every time I ride my cargo bike makes me feel like it should be a thing.

It never ceases to amaze me just how bad at people he is. It’s like he’s glitching all the time. I suspect at this point he has negative charisma and he’s zeroed it with a heap of modifiers.

there is a lovely adult female springer spaniel for sale on TM and I am having to tell myself that I don't need a second dog.

Yeah same here - like I do at least 60% of my shopping at stores other than the big 2 but not everything is cheaper and if you dont like shopping its a pain (I've been known to visit 3-4 markets in a single shopping trip for groceries)

Unfortunately the Kirikiriroa ones aren't that much cheaper (if at all) for veg and meat - the good stuff though they are much cheaper...

Once upon a time they were much cheaper though - especially for meat, not so much these days (last 2 years or so)

given that the current govt has two tails and they're both wagging the dog, I think that would be a bigger issue than some hypothetical straw person argument.

I wonder which round of cost cutting led to this particular piece of institutional knowledge being forgotten. The people who look after old buildings normally have a fairly good idea where it is, even if the bosses don’t want to know.

Minister Shane Jones looks to coal as businesses grapple with gas shortage Big industrial gas users met with Minister Shane Jones to discuss the problems with securing an affordable supply.

If only we had a program to decarbonise industry and free it from dependency on limited supplies of fossil gas. A government would have to be really stupid to disestablish such a program, wouldn't it? www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...

while this is clearly hopium, the problem with PhD level experts is that they can use language and ideas in ways that are very specific to their fields and if climate change/mRNA/Covid taught us anything these words do not mean the same as what the average 5th form science C student means.

β€˜Crazy’ safety and ingredient label rules are the next target in red tape war The Government says New Zealand’s β€œ30 crazy labelling laws” are driving up your supermarket bill.

When we see things like this, there's reason to be concerned that some madly grinning clown is coming to kill you. But, and however, as with many ACT announcements there's probably lots less to this than meets the eye (remember his whole "unapproved medicine advertising is now legal!" lie?)

this comes back to where does this ideology come from - and its not NZ, most of this is recycled US stuff. They dont really even understand what it is they are asking. (or dont care and are doing it for the ragebait)
