Update: this book was terrific. I appreciated the discussion of "a disease of injustice," a treatable disease that kills millions due to inequitable distribution of healthcare resources.

It moves really quickly and the stories are well told. I hope you enjoy it.

#currentlyreading and learning from Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green. So far it's a stark depiction of a real killer that so much of the west assumes forgotten.

The Hundred Year House by Rebecca Makkai

This was a pleasant surprise. I bought this for 1$ at a library sale and enjoyed its contemporary take on Gothic fiction. A nice swift read.
