Being Mortal by Atul Gawande has been so helpful as I care for my aging family members. The historical perspective and the science are really comforting. Being a caregiver is really hard, and it's nice to know the science backs me up on that.

#MLB if you think I will watch Friday night baseball on Apple TV, even this close to the end of the regular season, you are mistaken!

I will simply watch a little less baseball...and that, my friends, is contrary to what the entire baseball community wants.

Dear Apple TV,
-Your knowledge about the individual teams is woefully shallow
-Your direction is unprofessional, with awkward cuts and terrible angles
-Your stupid little predictions metric is a travesty.

I hate it.

#BlueJays fans are blessed with an incredible broadcast for most games. The direction is excellent and the game calling is warm, informative, and the right amount of salty. So the comparison to the Apple TV broadcast is particularly stark.

Apple TV, I do not want to watch your shitty baseball broadcast.
