Been there - you're doing a lovely thing. My dad lost the ability to swallow food unless it was pureed, so I bought him a little food processor to use. Some of the combinations he came up with were hilarious, and gag-worthy! Good job - lots of seniors have no one to care for them like this.

Uh - that's not true. There's nothing in the Mennonite religion that forbids vaccines. You always get your crazies, but I think mostly it's about control.

Our last trip - and I do mean last - to the US: the people who served us were so lovely. They people they were serving were breathtakingly rude, entitled and obnoxious. One porter told us that she can always spot Canadians because they're nice - and they tip.
