Sincere sympathy - so sorry for your loss.

Proud Canadian. I love gardening, reading, cooking. Dark sense of humour for an old lady. Favourite joke: What do you get when you cross an agnostic, an insomniac and a dyslexic? Someone who lies awake all night, wondering if there really IS a dog.
Sincere sympathy - so sorry for your loss.

We have to share all of this kind of info with each other because legacy media will pass it over. ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ
I canโt imagine being so boring and tawdry that I would consider any one medium more capable of telling stories than another.

06.12.2025 01:12 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A note that reads: On Christmas morning ... A pair of hand knit socks contains about 35,000 stitches. That's 35,000 times someone did something while thinking about you. So, if you get hand knit socks this Christmas, remember someone loves you a great deal.
The annual reminder from knitters everywhere.

That is lovely!
05.12.2025 14:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My dad was very hard of hearing, so my name was on all his accounts. I tried to change his electric bill once and they insisted on speaking to him. After several tries they gave up and talked to me. I'm so sad for all the elders who can't understand all of this. My dad didn't have a computer!
05.12.2025 14:35 โ ๐ 33 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1I love Bluey. 'Hang on, I'll get my glasses' is part of our family lexicon now.
05.12.2025 04:29 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Goodreads counts audiobooks as books read. Your stance doesn't make any sense to me.
05.12.2025 03:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0That's so not true.
I guess it's your opinion.
Sure saw this coming.

05.12.2025 02:49 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'd never know - but I joined Goodreads, and so far this year: 146. It's higher now that I've discovered audiobooks. I always have one in my ear.
05.12.2025 02:48 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0My favourite is when you bump into someone and you both say 'sorry', and then you both say 'no, no - not a problem'.
04.12.2025 15:28 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0One of my favourite places.
04.12.2025 15:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Wow! (I don't know what I like best - your crystal reveals or Anakin)
04.12.2025 15:01 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Thank you - I've never seen raw moonstone!
04.12.2025 14:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Right? I prefer double pointed needles over circular, don't know why.
04.12.2025 14:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not a librarian (retired office manager) but I do love libraries! I'm teetering on the edge of trying colourwork. Big step for someone who used to think I could knit sweaters if you could knit one big square and cut out pieces, ha ha.

04.12.2025 02:09 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I love that yarn. I started on metal needles and a friend tried to switch me to bamboo. Not for me!

03.12.2025 19:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes, you do. You can't speak for Elizabeth May, who seems to trust the PM just fine, or for anyone else - except yourself.
