stained glass window detail showing the full frontal face of a female saint dressed a blue robe that covers her head and a wimple. She carries a sprig of oak and a lamp, and there's Celtic knotwork beneath her.

It's #February! Endless January is done, and Spring is, maybe, just around the corner! It's also #StBrigidsday, and here she is by the Irish master, Harry Clarke, in Castletownsend, #Ireland, with St Brigid's fire and an oak sprig from the tree where she founded her church in Kildare.

A red squirrel on the ground. It almost looks like it is in superhero pose with one front paw and one back paw on the ground. The other front and back paws are raised in the air, its head is forward ready to run towards the camera.

What we all need to see is a red squirrel in a power pose.
You're welcome.

"The first fruits unto God". This lovely stained glass panel depicting St Cecilia can be found at St Michael & All Angels, Waterford (Herts). Designed by Harry Clarke in 1921 and made by Karl Parsons in 1929. Its location, directly opposite the main door, makes for a dramatic entrance to the church.
