2025 made some pretty substantial updates to my Top “5” favorite games of all time list;

1. Cassette Beasts
2. Night in the Woods
3. Absolum
4. Pokémon: Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky
5. Hades 1 & 2

Absolum was easily GoTY for me and also has my new favorite OST of any game ever.

(2/2) Meanwhile MtG has regained my interest; as much as I do not like Universes Beyond and what it’s done to the game, I am excited for The Hobbit and the next Marvel set. Especially excited for StrixhavenZ

Also got sucked back into the Elder Scrolls franchise cuz I’m in a ES D&D campaign now.

(1/2) Have not posted in a while but Skybound continues to do a great job with the Energon Universe. In the meantime I wait for @jedmackay.bsky.social next issues of Moon Knight and Nova, which both continue to be peak and can’t wait to see where he goes with both projects.

We're in this situation because Nixon didn't go to jail for Watergate and Reagan wasn't punished for Iran Contra. The path of least resistance brought us here.

You know what really grinds my gears? Out of print products that could be easily reproduced.

For example, me wanting to get my hands on the Complete Collection of the IDW 2005-2018 run of The Transformers (one of the best comic runs in history)… or the Night in the Woods OST on vinyl.

I’ve been diggin’ Nova so far. I don’t really know where it’s going just yet but it’s only like 2 issues as of right now.

The Energon Universe by Skybound which includes Transformers, G.I Joe and a series called Void Rivals. All very good.

Have not posted in a bit cuz got really busy, but all you need to know is I’ve read a lot of comics; mostly Jed MacKay’s Nova and Moon Knight series and the Skybound Energon Universe stuff. Also been playing a lot of games: Mostly Absolum and XCOM 2.

Got the Spider-Man 2099 Omnibus tho! It beeg!

Bought #Absolum about 13 times now. 2 for myself on Steam and got a Collector’s Edition, and 11 times for Christmas gifts.Everyone who worked on this game; @dotemu.bsky.social @supamonksstudio.bsky.social,Guard Crush Games, and everyone else? You hit it out of the park. Can’t wait to see more!

I’ve been a fan of superhero content for a long time; since I was a kid. So it comes as no surprise that I enjoyed this. And I enjoyed it a lot. This is fantastic and probably my favorite thing I’ve experienced in the genre in a while. Hope we get a Season 2!

For clarification the flavor is the reason I tolerate them not the lack of it; I worded that weird.

It’s one of my big gripes with UB sets. I like a lot of UB sets but there’s so much cheap crap that gets shoved into them or like the Spider-Man set they botch the flavor; which is the only reason I tolerate them. MtG has a cool setting and the fact that it isn’t the focus sucks. Instead Fortnite.

This is maybe one if the worst looking cards in Magic: the Gathering history.

WoTC please stop doing this these “screenshots or artwork” cards from other media or IP cards are hideous. It’s better than using AI but god it’s such a waste of cardboard.
