I can not stress how exhausting it must be to be a bigoted person. I get annoyed about a missing coffee in a delivery order and I need a nap. They must be tired all the time with all that misplaced rage and hate.

I discovered this weekend that a few meal prep problems I was having would be fixed with a mini-muffin pan. So I did the thing and am having an easier Monday.

Action item that is small you can take right now to help out that I am enjoying is reaching out the my mayor. I now have 3 things I can do locally this weekend to support the needs of the community.

Life isn’t always about being the best and most efficient. I have never set foot into a funeral and remembered someone for that, unless it was the best at humor or something comforting me, life is just existing and supporting those around you. You can and should enjoy those moments.

That struck a chord with me. I’m not an organized religion person. This is a heaviness of realizing how many other school shooting victims were praying during their events. It’s a heavy thought.

I’ll text them to you. I use steel cut oats for more of a rice texture, but it’s a great way to use up greens that are not something you want to eat raw but you feel bad throwing them out.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

I just found out, like an hour ago, that mini-donkeys exist and grow to be like 3 feet tall. They need to be in at least pairs and they are super cute.

One little added being the Dunkin you go to matters. My local Dunkin had a fire at 2am when no one was there. It was closed while they fixed the damage. The next closest Dunkin made my drink a different way. It made me miss my Dunkin more because the people there know me.
