I think that's a point: There were some aspects of socialism they adopted, particularly prior to 1934, but many they did not. Does that mean they deserved a flat label of socialist? What does that mean politically?

Does that state control mean socialism? That's the point. How does it meet the definition of socialism? There's plenty of historians who argue that it doesn't. Your first point was that "socialist" was in the name, therefore they were socialist. History argues that was a political ploy.

Both are equally horrible. It's not a contest or either/or. Taking one person off the air, when that one person reaches millions, and is speaking truth to power, is intimidation and chilling to free speech. Deporting without free speech is a violation of civil rights and not constitutional.

This is so true. Facebook groups are trying to answers SS questions. I saw someone copy an AI answer that suggested file and suspend, which was ended. At least 1/3 of the answers are wrong. Folks saying 3 calls on a question will get 3 different answers because SS doesn’t know. It’s a huge mess.
