I used to run an FB page about writing on abortion, and she let me reprint some poems (letters to SCOTUS justices). When I met her she was so kind and welcoming. A real human being. I won't forget her. Keep on thinking about her. Her memory for a blessing.

This is what I mean when I talk about "attacks on reality." In case you were wondering.

When I was a journalist, people said that I took the corruption of the small town governments, school boards and other public entities I covered personally. Now I'm taking the varying attacks on reality personally. Someday I should write an essay about this. But it's too personal.

I wish I knew what to say, but I don't. But thanks for thinking of me. Maybe we'll talk tomorrow.
