I picked up a Jacques Brel comp with his first 4 albums this week. Not bad for 33p.

Jacques Brel et ses Chansons is a sprightly debut and better than I expected... and leads me nicely on to Scott (Stereo CD, mono LP)

Very different sounding mixes, worth hearing both. Top 5 cert

Can - Monster Movie (1969) Album cover shows a large iron giant or something brandishing a gun towards the viewer against a blue cloudy sky over purple mountains . Album title is embossed in gray wall and credited to “The Can.”

Classic first release from Düsseldorf band Can with original vocalist Malcom Mooney. Opener “Father Cannot Yell” is Velvet Underground inspired noise-rock while 20 minute centerpiece “Yoo Doo Right” predicts their later extended jams.
