It’s definitely more positive Paul isn’t it. Particularly after the recent issues and I think it affects everyone to different degrees. Had times myself in Martinez last season where I struggled to remain engaged with it. Funny looking back given what we’ve been through the last couple of years 😂

Walking out yesterday I was disappointed to come away with a point, but it’s strangely refreshing and shows how expectations have changed already. Thought we bossed the majority and were the only team trying to win the game. Work in progress but we’re night and day compared to last season. #UTFT 💪

I do think we’d get huge numbers mate. There was football before 1992, there is football outside of the Premier League and Champions League. Seeing the response in Newcastle is a fantastic reminder that the domestic trophies still matter to supporters and it means more than finishing 4th.

We haven’t won a trophy for 30 years but should temper our celebrations if we win one? Fuck that! Of course we should have a parade. Fair play to Newcastle fans for not letting their moment be ruined by the Premier/Champions League narrative that there’s no value in our domestic cups anymore.
