'Tarky would have to have had his arm chopped off' to avoid the pen - Moyes not holding back here.
18.08.2025 21:28 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We are not ready. The pen was a joke imho but we are still short of a fair few players.
18.08.2025 21:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Where is his arm supposed to be?
18.08.2025 20:43 β π 12 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0Didn't think it was either. Plus ca change, or something.
18.08.2025 20:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It would of course be trivially easy for the press and his political opponents to make this sort of action unthinkable for a mainstream politician, by the simple act of noticing all the violent Neo-Nazis attending these rallies and making Jenrick accountable for that. Alas...
18.08.2025 08:06 β π 207 π 74 π¬ 4 π 1Yeah. The bit where Ruth screams at her parents 'he's dead, I know he is' is visceral because no-one actually knows what happened to him. But she does.

16.08.2025 20:42 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This commentator on @officialecfc.bsky.social Sky coverage talking nonsense - keeps calling SJP 'St James's Park' - that's Newcastle, SJP is St James' Park' and said Wareham is first permanent no 9 since Stansfield.
It was Ben Seymour mate.

Never seen a finish like it before or since but 15 year old me was ADAMANT Vinny went for it so who am I* to dispute what my childish self thought at the time.

Glad it wasn't worse mate!

Now you're talking. Boston United vs Leeds U21 in National League Cup. 3-0 Boston now, YouTube, reduced Belgian buns, lads I can legitimately* call 'son'.
Football is BACK.
*not in the actual parental sense
I felt for the Academy coach who was getting his moment of glory and wasn't even announced because Rossie didn't know who he was. Rossie made a mess of Southampton as well. Not sure why he was brought back.

Been the better side on the whole.

UTFT.
Watched it on Saturday after having sworn I'd never watch it again. It's an incredible piece of film-making and agree everyone should see it.
This is worth a watch in terms of the 1984 reaction. Mary Midgely is good.

I wasn't best pleased when having had an accessible parking space for the past few years and a Blue Base membership I had to go in a ballot this year and didn't get a space, probably like a lot of people. Going to be fun and games working out how to get to the match with my needs tbh.
30.07.2025 15:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep, one thing people keep saying to me is 'they can't charge that when we're not winning' and they just have no grasp of what randoms will pay for the 'PL experience'. Club is becoming a very different entity to what it was. The price of gambling on competitiveness is losing your soul these days.
30.07.2025 10:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0TFG are up for changing this it seems. Last few years in particular have been hard on the WSL side too, but it looks TFG keen to add players/resources.

Larry David a mate of mine IRL now, Pineda Pete gone the game with me, I sorted quite a few for tickets but never met them (digital world we live in). I was 18/19 when rivals very first got going so I suppose we were first generation 'socialised' in that way.
Delusions for players also meet reality in the window and I think we'll get a higher calibre of loan than we have been getting towards the end of it as it shakes out.
Lukaku in 2013 probably the best loan we have ever had, think Everton can realistically aspire to better than we have lately.
Players would deffo be better off playing for us than sitting on the bench for a UCL club but the latter equals more wedge for the agent and every young lad backs himself. They wouldn't be where they are if they didn't.
On a positive note.../3
