Some ludicrous restrictions on public questions being proposed by the Combined Authority. Currently the deadline for public questions is 3 working days before a meeting; they want to change this to 7. Guess what the deadline for publishing the agenda is? shorturl.at/DQdrk (item 7)

This really shouldn't even need saying, let alone agitating for. It is a truism more than a proposition.

They must be able to criticise Tommy Robinson fascism or we're completely lost. This isn't even Farage we're talking about here. Goddamn them for even needing to hear that.

The Conservatives have lost overall control of Surrey County Council for the first time since the 1990s after the Lib Dems won a local by-election.

Voters in Surrey are backing the Liberal Democrats' community politics over the Conservatives, just as they did in the General Election.

The Lib Dems have reported the BBC to Ofcom for giving "undue prominence" to Reform UK in its coverage of the UK-France deal yesterday

Journalists at the Farage press conference repeating Reform's framing of this policy as "robin hood" because the non-dom fee will be redistributed to poorer workers, whilst missing the fact that it hands tens of billions of pounds in tax cuts to the wealthiest people already living in the UK

The Prime Minister has not even spoken once in the Commons since this crisis began. He needs to come to Parliament today, update the country on where the UK stands and what he is doing to ensure the situation does not escalate any further.
