I can't stress enough how extremely critical it is for folks who are even minorly technical to explain to their extended familles how dangerous AI chatbots and genai are.

Instacart didn't adjust the cost of a by-weight item I ordered.
They charged me $100 in the app, the amount delivered said $40 (sale?) so I tried to contact support for the difference.

Instead the bot refunded the full $100.

Does make me wonder where else they've skimmed.
