It's certainly known, but I think fairly slept on with the perpetual T2 hype, at least a few years ago.

My Contax T1 is still so impossibly small. Bikepacked across Switzerland with it, and regularly backpack/hike with it. It absolutely disappears in a way no other film camera I know of does. Looks great too (Porsche design)

There does seem to be a substantial amount of people (20-30%), again probably particularly here in Portland. Who have dramatically reduced their public life from pre-pandemic. (Not dining out, not shopping out, etc.). Coupled with the tourism hit, it hasn't been easy.

Cities no, but downtowns yes (at least here in Portland). And that does ripple out- businesses that relied partly on commuters (restaurants and retail) are struggling and closing. Causing a realignment to neighborhoods until we figure out how to convert office to residential
