It is rational to mask in order to avoid covid, long covid, spreading covid, and causing others to have long covid.

While composing this, I was reminded how Anne Frank and her sister Margot died of typhus in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

ICE should be required to wear medical-grade respirators with clearly visible, detailed identity information on their person (front and back) and actually held accountable for self-identification when asked.

There are alternative solutions that don't place victims in greater danger of dying from communicable diseases. The conditions of detention centers are akin to death camps.

As detainees are deprived of medical care, viruses and illness run rampant—at least 13 have died in custody this year alone.
