It’s really disheartening to see people who admit this regime is doing eugenics fail to understand the ways in which chronically ill, disabled, and immunocompromised people are just absolutely fucked by Long Covid

It is rational to fear what covid does to the body.

And this ableist machismo, separating "fear" and rational thinking, isn't helpful here. They aren't dichotomous.

It is rational to mask in order to avoid covid, long covid, spreading covid, and causing others to have long covid.

You’re perpetuating a harmful stereotype. Not even a certified psychologist should so casually pathologize someone wanting to reduce their exposure.

"The marginal benefit of having all asymptomatic people mask indoors"

N95s are near perfect at stopping the virus.

"absent extremely high prevalence and no vaccine"

Prevelance is extremely high. Most people aren't vaccinated. Vaccinations do not stop spread or chronic symptoms.

The Cowardice of Senate Democrats Made Emil Bove’s Confirmation Possible Senate Democrats could have confirmed Biden nominee Adeel Mangi to the Third Circuit last year. They caved to a disgraceful right-wing smear campaign instead.

Emil Bove's confirmation was only possible because Democrats caved to a vile right-wing smear campaign of Adeel Mangi, who would have been the first Muslim appeals court judge, when Biden nominated him for the same seat last year. Absolutely disgraceful. Bove's confirmation is on them, too.

I have said for ages that AI is driven by a popular delusion derived from tech CEOs being trusted to explain AI to the press, despite misreading what their own systems are actually doing, and people have mostly been reluctant to believe it. But the evidence is everywhere.

Joseph Alberts if you knew anything about our conference you would know we did have COVID protocols.
We encouraged guests who were symptomatic with potential respiratory infections and those who had recently been exposed to someone who was sick to stay home, we encouraged masking and offered free masks and hand sanitizers to our guests, we had the hotel's HEPA filtration system cranked to max capacity and we had dozens of Corsi Rosenthal air filters all over the conference venue.
We also had a livestream option for those who don't feel comfortable attending in person events.
We did not require masking because at this time there is insufficient evidence to show that mandatory masking in a public setting does anything to reduce COVID risk
Please read this Cochrane review,

Yet at Dysautonomia International’s big fundraiser, there was no mask requirement

Worse, they’re publicly stating masks don’t work & quoting the debunked Cochrane study 🧵

People don’t fake disability, they fake being well.

They aren’t stealing your tax dollars, they’re forced into legislated poverty.

They’re not the reason you can’t get ahead. Denying them healthcare or social supports won’t better your life.

Also, almost everyone ends up disabled eventually.

Header text: "HEY YOU! YES YOU! TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!"

This is followed by a couple example urls, with a red square highlighting the sections with source identifiers. The rest of the text is as follows:

Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site. Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity.

When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers.

Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them. Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm_source="
