Hi!
Here is a quick reminder that I am still Kevin Ketner, comic book editor for just about a decade, having worked on several Eisner-nominated projects, and I am currently without a job!
I am looking for freelance and/or full-time editing work. I promise I'm cool!
βΌοΈ Still time to submit a response to the UK Government consultation on copyright and artificial intelligence!
Artists, creators, estates and rightsholders make sure to use our guide to respond and have your views heard! www.dacs.org.uk/news-events/...
Whoβs been putting off filling in that government consultation on AI then? Because you took one look and realised that fucking thing was designed SPECIFICALLY to put you off?
Donβt worry, there are three online guides to help you:

Hey, I know your mental health is probably in the gutter right now. If you're a creative freelancer (or even if you're not!) you might find some useful advice in this comic book guide I wrote for the @societyofauthors.bsky.social, with stunning art by a bunch of amazing creators (tagged in thread) π

First time in my 21 year career that I only have enough lettering work to keep me at my desk part-time. So if you're starting up a project and you need a letterer, please consider hiring me or recommending me to your editor/publisher! It was nice being part-time for a week, but now it's terrifying.

UK Illustrators, pls share: The AOI (Association of Illustrators) is conducting a survey on AI and copyright to hopefully fight back against the ridiculous decision by the UK govt to plow ahead regardless.
