Just want to finish this rant by saying that if I hear anyone else say they "asked ChatGPT" for something that you could find with a google search I will be forced to commit Suzuki and change their life trajectory forever

Another point is that eventually, all these tools will become paid, and the free versions, if they exist, will be extremely limited to push towards a subscription, after people are already addicted. It's capitalism 101 and it's baffling how so many people are missing the pattern

And i'm truly scared for the generation of kids that's gonna grow up on AI-everything. Just hundreds to thousands of hours of social interaction replaced with the machine that just tells you what you want to hear to keep you engaged for longer. No contradiction, just pats on the back.

No more googling, no more asking someone you know, no more fact-checking. I was listening to a podcast the other day that featured a quiz, and turns out that one of the answers was incorrect because ChatGPT just made it up and the host didn't even bother to check. And he acted like it was normal

The thing is more and more people I know are becoming dependent on AI, which is a crazy switch-up from even a year ago. People are asking ChatGPT about pain on their shoulder. Using it as a therapist, which is batshit insane. Just replacing every form of human connection with a chatbot

📚Dolly's writing is so mundane in the best possible way. It feels like a friend telling you a great story over some coffee, and the plot on this one is a very interesting departure from her previous work. Definitely recommend this one
