especially before n, some varieties of English pronounce the "a" in "cat" as a diphthong. the mouth starts a bit narrower and ends in a neutral position, so it's more like "eh-uh." if you don't enunciate "crayon," its vowels can start to sound similar to "eh-uh!"

an mspaint recreation of the famous thanksgiving scene from "a charlie brown thanksgiving" (1973). around the table in clockwise order sits linus, lucy, charlie brown, peppermint patty, snoopy, marcy, and franklin. linus and marcy are at each end of the table while franklin is (racistly) pushed to the opposite side from everyone else. not great but that's what we're working with here. the table has plates, bowls of popcorn, sugary pink beverages, and a big serving platter that has a turkey under it. each person has a clock for a face because of course they do, however one will note that half of the people are turned away from the camera so you only see half of their clock face which is a terrifying revelation in the katie cinematic clock universe. snoopy has no clock face he's just snoopy. we love him. in the background are the stems to a couple of trees and it's a lot of dead grass for the field that they're in. i'm drawing and writing this in between cooking btw it's gonna go hard.
