Speaking of skill ceiling, I would earnestly like to get good at this game in ways I never managed while I was playing in the past, and that's going to take a ton of work, like literally years of work. If I do actually want that, then I need to focus.

It's simple, it's fun, it has a skill ceiling that breaks the heavens, and there's always something good to listen to. I can't really think of any cons other than a lack of widespread appeal, which I frankly don't give a shit about.

I started streaming again with the nebulous idea of "playing retro stuff", but lately I just want to lose myself in rhythm games, so playing IIDX is probably all I'll be doing for a bit while I work on fleshing out exactly what I want to do with the retro thing

Got this wild Sailor Moon poster at a convention where DiC VAs and their voice manager had a panel years and years ago and I never really stop thinking about it

It's been around 5 years since I last streamed, and what I'm doing now is kinda different from then... it's hard. I did all right though. I beat the baby game, and one new person liked what I was doing, which is one more than I expected really.
