"The US Education Department should not be weaponizing federal funding to punish our public schools. These actions are well outside the bounds of the normal process for when the federal government disagrees with school division policies, instead jumping straight to punishing students by withholding funding for critical services. By targeting Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Arlington, and Alexandria, the federal government is undermining locally developed policies that protect and support students."
"Hundreds of thousands of public school students in these divisions rely on federal funds for staffing, support programs, and disability accommodations. These funds are crucial to the safety and well-being of our students, educators, and communities and shouldn’t be used as a bargaining chip in a political game. We stand with these five NOVA divisions and call on the federal government to rescind the “high risk” designation they were placed into, which makes it harder for them to access the federal funds their students are entitled to."

Weather forecast showing cloudy weather. Current temperature 20 degrees, feels like 9 degrees, high 28 degrees, low 22 degrees.
When I got my unit circle tattoo, I did have a slight anxiety about the future having to keep it covered for testing students at a time where it was way too hot to wear long sleeves. Clearly that fear was unnecessary--happy unit circle quiz day!
