A forum I've been in for ages added a "Just Walk Away" button to their posting/reply form that simply functions as another "Cancel" button. Not only did it drastically reduce overall drama, forum members said it often made them think more about what they did post. Wish it was common elsewhere.

The entire show/plot/stories are based loosely around some of the shenanigans that occur whenever the BBC has to hunt down another Time Lord to fill the main actor spot. That's also why it takes so long to do so. UNIT just needs to shut up and get over themselves about it, honestly.
