Ahh I didn't know that it was the 125th birthday of Alistair Sim on Thursday. There's a memorial stone at Edinburgh's Filmhouse @filmhouseedinburgh.bsky.social marking the place (or near as) of his birth.

I watched The Tron last week on Disney+ and it looked amazing. Has it just been really scrubbed up or has it been mucked about with?

#OTD 45 years ago (7 Oct 1980) according to my diary, I drew these images for the Hitchhiker's Guide BBC TV series. Douglas Adams as both the ad exec and as Paula, the worst poet in the universe. I was 19 years old and having fun.

Think it's getting a cinema release again soon. I was a bit put off at the time with his blazer wearing scenes. I thought he looked like John Stapleton.

Sorry to see John Woodvine has gone. I watched 'The Armageddon Factor' a week or two ago and he was probably the best thing in it. A wonderful actor with such a great voice.
