Well, the time has come. I am a dedicated reader, but for me, it is a solitary affair, a portal into other worlds that I prefer to explore alone. Yes, I do not like book clubs. I’ve tried. It would seem to be a natural fit for me, but alas. Square peg, meet round hole.

In my city people streamed toward the huge rally from all corners, but in our travels today we also saw mini-protests, as folks in neighborhoods gathered at intersections with signs, and drivers honked in support.

I'm not a vegan, but I am suffering with this ongoing egg shortage. I ventured into the world of scrambled tofu this morning, and was pleasantly surprised. Tofu also has more protein, fewer calories, and less cholesterol than eggs. I might just be a convert! #eggshortage #tofuscramble #notavegan
