Watching Geoff and Gavin return to Achievement City and reading the comments while at work was a mistake. I was emotional.

Also, for what it’s worth, the anxiety is more of finding myself in the water *with* them, although I do find the half facaded machinery to be unnerving in the same way I find other man-made items submerged in water to be unnerving.

…by asking if they had ever heard of The Jungle Cruise or The Jaws Ride and if they knew what an “irrational fear” is. Sometimes I wish I had matched with them to do so, but I think that might have been their play which is something I would find very annoying.

Thinking about when someone responded to my answer (submerged animatronics) to a hinge prompt (my irrational fear) by saying it’s an unlikely location for an animatronic to be. I restrained myself in my anger at what to me was a clear dismissal of the anxiety from matching with them to respond…

First time I was in therapy my therapist said there was a lot of stuff I probably had but she wouldn’t diagnose me with it because then “they” would want me to take meds for it and it didn’t seem like anything was bad enough to require medication

this is just me vague posting about something that super doesn’t matter at work, so being any level of upset is probably irrational but its also not something that is disruptive or truly that negatively impactful

I get kinda irrationally upset whenever people agree to do something one way, proceed to not do it that way, and by the time it gets brought up that it’s not what we agreed to, the precedent has been set and we are expected to continue how we’ve been doing it.

I’m so happy I’m not in college and working at the writing center anymore. I can only imagine the nightmare that is now.

As a professional graphic designer, the next time someone says “it’s just a simple edit”, I’m gonna ask them to explain the process of how that edit would be made. If they can’t or if it is wrong, I will let them know they don’t get to decide it’s a simple edit.

Feeling... rough. Lately.

It’s been too long since I’ve watched through Carmilla. I’ve had the phrase “Don’t come near me! I. Will. Kill.” stuck in my head for days and I haven’t been able to place where it’s from until now.

Decided I wanted to get Supergirl (amongst other things) on dvd so I can watch it whenever I want without bothering with streaming services. I happened to score half the seasons from half price books with two more on order from them as well
