Absolutely this, many many panels, their only real aim is to find a way out of giving a service and saving money.

I’m not sure it’s always that, the nature of care work itself can be quite lonely, often in people’s homes where there isn’t a team of people to work alongside, a lack of other perks (like staff discounts in retail), a social life after work maybe. The soft benefits of work often lacking maybe.
