BREAKING: A federal judge reversed National Institutes of Health's terminations of hundreds of critical research grants that were canceled because of their alleged connection to disfavored topics, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and gender identity.

This is a major win for public health.

AmeriCorps service reshaped my trajectory in the best way.

Helping others is a powerful way to know ourselves, and it empowers us to identify the ways we can be of use to our country.

Nicole Kach is spot on — funding cuts to our national service program are un-American. We have to do better!

Affordable, accessible child care.

Equal pay for equal work.

Paid family leave.

Reproductive freedom.

These ideas aren't radical. But making them reality would be revolutionary.

Kory’s mom depends on Social Security benefits to provide for her family, and his brother will depend on veteran services.

At our town hall this week, Kory asked if AGs will fight for him and his family.

We’re never going to stop fighting for Kory and the people.

A tweet from Jake Sherman with Punchbowl News that reads:

🚨🚨BREAKING -- A new CBO analysis shows that several policies Republicans are considering for slashing Medicaid spending would lead to millions of people losing health insurance coverage.

The analysis, requested by Democrats, says that per capita caps for the Medicaid expansion population would save $225 billion in federal spending and result in 1.5 million more uninsured people by 2034. Blocking provider taxes could save $668 billion and lead 3.9 million to lose coverage, per CBO.

This is a damning confirmation of what we've been saying:

Republicans want to rip away healthcare from millions to fund more tax cuts for billionaires.

Hands. Off. Medicaid.

Guys, I love all of you, but the answer to RFK, Jr. is not that autistic adults hold jobs, pay taxes, and get laid, it's that everyone deserves to live even if they can't work, pay taxes, or get laid.

As a resident tutor at Harvard, I know these students. I'm so proud of their courage and their leadership. And I'm scared — we must protect them at all costs. Our community, and our future as a nation, is brighter because they are here.

A graphic that reads: Rep. Pressley reintroduces STRONG Support for Children Act to address childhood trauma

A quote from Rep. Ayanna Pressley on the reintroduction of her STRONG Support for Children Act that reads:

“Every child deserves to thrive. The STRONG Support for Children Act would provide critical resources and approach childhood trauma through a reparative, healing-centered, and trauma-informed lens. Children too often carry the weight of trauma throughout their entire lives because these wounds don’t just heal on their own. With this legislation, we will invest in breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma and ensure children are supported.”

Every child deserves to thrive—not carry the weight of their trauma for a lifetime.

I reintroduced the STRONG Support for Children Act to break cycles of trauma, invest in healing, and ensure our kids get the care and support they deserve.

The NIH called my health equity research ‘antithetical to scientific inquiry’ The NIH canceled Logan Beyer’s health equity research, saying it was “antithetical to scientific research.” That’s completely wrong, she writes.

When the NIH cut funding for my research on food and housing insecurity, they sent a letter stating my work was “antithetical to the scientific inquiry”

They couldn’t be more wrong. I explain why in @statnews.com
