We could try privatize the collection: let Josef O’Shea and others identify and seize properties with uncollected taxes, develop and sell off, paying the tax owed and putting property back into circulation. The nominal initial value can be deducted from the sale and put into escrow?

I’m never quite sure why so many of these guys actually want to attend media events with him. There is always a high probability of you being embarrassed or humiliated in public.

Yeah but those homes will still be rented at a (high) market rate. A flooding of extra housing onto the market would drive down prices but primarily Irish social forces will stop that.

The big surprise is what docile burger-eating surrender monkeys the American population has become, especially as a nation with a folk image of itself as rugged don’t tread on me individualists.

They missed a trick. In the German parliament if you want to remove the chancellor you have to name his successor in the motion. That would be much more fun watching Le Pen and Melenchon agree a candidate.
