I’ve been reading a lot of non fiction about how to respond to todays horrors and this book (mutual aid by dean spade) is a really accessible, quick and solid read about building solidarity during crisis

Had to sell my Lucy Dacus New York tickets because of Trump’s Canadian tariffs. Definitely not the worst impact of all of his atrocious actions, but I do hate him even more.

Every day I open my document to edit thinking this’ll just take a minute and when I look up it’s 735pm

Unfortunately, a couple is engaging in very gross, off-putting PDA on my train. But just when I began to accept life is an inescapable nightmare, I looked up and exchanged an expression so pained with a fellow passenger that I now feel hope. At least we’re in this nightmare together, guy on train

Writing on a train is always humbling because I’ll look away from my laptop to check my phone, get distracted, and lookup to see I’ve left my screen zoomed into words like lesbian and cuckhold

I’ve just discovered something chilling.Americans don’t say “bachelor apartment” and I fear when they hear us say it they think we’re talking about apartments with like single men vibes
