A haunted automaton sends Dien, a buoyant go-for-broke synthetic-being, and Hux, a meek dropout cop, to a burnt down mansion in pursuit of a murderer, who holds the mirror to their own humanity.

I had to puzzle this one out for myself. I think I would start with knowing my characters and find out what trait on their partner they gravitate to. Then I'd focus on how they experience those endearing characteristics from personal POVs

Watching ProZD plays Majora's Mask and I am today years old when I came to the world-shattering realization that I am older than Tingle. And no fairy has come to me either.

Sometimes I read my old writing and think it's pretty descent, then I get sad thinking that I will never write like that again. Haha.

The military in my In my Eideon WIP is very much an extended arm of the capitalistic authoritarian government. Poorer citizens are encouraged a career in military with promises of better pay and benefits. The young soldiers are indoctrinated into a system that protects the wealthy ruling class.

It's been an interesting task trying to combine cozy/slice of life and mystery. My gut is telling me to prioritize the pacing for the mystery part, but my wife read what I had and wanted to see more character interactions cause she liked it so much.

AND supporting your local library is super important! If you actually DO want books to be available to everyone, the library *already exists* and is staffed by the people who are deep in the trenches of fighting censorship! Supporting the library is doing actual good for your community!

I think it's when Dien saw his first creator for the first time. The man was radiant and at ease in his own skin, and carried himself like he is submerged in every earthly gladness. Dien felt a pull he can not describe. #ProjectEideon

Dien likes to DIY the entire house when there isn't enough tasks to keep him busy. That's how he unknowingly deals with his ADHD.
