I don't think I've ever considered supporting a fellow author by saying don't buy his books, but here we are.

I have a fondness for this one that is unexplainable.

I’m so sure it’s gotten to the point that I’m telling people not to buy my books because my publisher won’t honour our contract. Who keeps my percentage of a sale? Who receives the money? Not me, apparently. So fucking shitty.

When we start out we all have a handful of writers we admire/study/emulate and maybe even imitate. That fades the more you write. I think when we finally are writing without any other writer's voices in our heads, we've found our own.
