I am fully willing to overlook minor things like facts and objective reality if it makes a tweet read funnier.

Engineers when you point out flaws in their DX that affects maybe 5 people ever on that team: yes absolutely we should fix this, this is 10x engineering

when you point out systemic accessibility issues: wow maybe in a perfect world we could fix this πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ there has to be balance!!!!

Like I used to just be 'hey here's what the user wants, here's a cool idea, let's do the cool thing' and it was fun and now it's like 'here's the slop machine, it's instructions literally include 'flirt with the kids for engagement' and I'm like....I...I dunno I don't wanna touch that it's gross.

I know AI is setting fire to the arctic circle in the name of luring the elderly to their death and flirting with kids, but can we also take a moment to appreciate that its also occasionally really funny?

Do the bad ending, apparently AI is going to decide it doesn't like us, engineer a bioweapon, then replace us all with corgi people.

You'd think this would be enough for a BBC Journo to go 'nah let's maybe not report on this' but here we are.

It's.....SerpAPI? Like the thing you build little python scripts ontop of when you need to scrape a bunch of keywords for a couple quid? The equivalent of sticking lists of proxies into AWR back in the day? OpenAI gets showered in a bazillion dollars, and they're using *that* SerpAPI? Wtf!?

Some ISPs seem to have turned on child safety features by default, and then Goog just follows them.

Mine reset when I signed up for an upgrade to Fibre, won't let me in the controls until 'my internet is setup', and now OpenReach have told me they actually can't upgrade so I'm stuck. πŸ™ƒ
