Out of concern for our precious pups we left exercise until the afternoon today, after the cold had eased a bit.

Needed some forced motivation to get out this morning but I'm glad we did.
All the side roads around Hayfield are seriously iced over.
Glad of our Kahtoola Exospikes, without which I doubt we'd have managed 7k run.
Dogs pleased with their Musher's Secret, which stops snow balling between their toes.

3 years ago we added running to our repertoire and we now run and hike on alternate days.
I'm 71 and my OH is 65.
We run slowly but I'm proud of both of us.
