214th Wainwright today, special one with the finish to the day, Birkhouse Moor and Catstye Cam fished me off, but went up Swirrel to Helvellyn. 44 years since I touched that trig with my old fella Ralph when I was 11, this one's for you old lad, hope you were looking down ♥️

It's mind blowing views 360 from up there, just wish it wasn't as hazy when we were up there. Went up with a mate who's done a lot up there, he's a geologist so get an interesting insight into the lay of the land.

Yeah I have Steve, very quiet. Had three days up there roaming around.Quite accessible, about same time to drive as the Western Lakes Fells for me

Lovely hills, quite accessible too. Only saw 3 people in 3 days and one of those was a farmer on a quad about a mile away.

I've four left Bill. Have been stuck on that for a bit, had a fair bit on with family stuff and whe. I've managed free time, the weather's been crap. Got out with Andy a couple of times, but tops I've done already. Saw that bench and view and thought of you

Yeah, walked past and sat on it a few times. Had a blast over Holme Moss this morning before the weather came in. We were up at 5:30, couldn't sleep so just went for a walk.

Cracking Friday night up in the Lakes, the heat was daft as predicted so a dip in a plunge pool on the way up had to be done 👌🏻

Felt like I needed that, not been out for what seems ages, despite the downpours every now and then and some blustery conditions, really enjoyed it, tucked away in a familiar spot for me
