Aspiring paid ideas guy. Real Liberalism has never been tried.
Proud of you representing us annoyingly evidence-based posters out there!
11.02.2026 00:17 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Trump was stifled enough by legacy Republicans during his first term to get away with a relatively inoffensive record. He took positions on inflation and immigration that were widely popular. People tuned out of politics were incapable of appreciating how bad he was, esp. for Jan. 6.
26.01.2026 13:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My dream job would be coming up with ideas like this and trying to implement them at every level of government. Random bureaucratic and organizational tweaks that donโt fully fix things but make progress more likely.
25.01.2026 14:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโm weird for a liberal in that I feel positively about federalism and donโt want maximum centralization. Trump has made the best case possible for that view.
25.01.2026 14:56 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Real talk though, what the hell is the matter with Sig handguns? I see stories about misfires all the time, yet they have massive military contracts? Would so much rather have a CZ, Smith and Wesson, Glock, etc.
25.01.2026 14:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0โFailed 90s triangulationโ except for the fact that Clinton and the Democrats were massively more popular?
22.01.2026 15:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The next Democratic President should take this to heart.
04.01.2026 23:51 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ngl that sounds delicious
31.12.2025 13:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, arenโt there just going to be steep automatic benefit cuts if nothing is changed?
28.12.2025 18:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My hometown! Pretty proud they were able to successfully implement it. I think Fargo maybe has as well, which is funny as someone who also used to live near there.
18.12.2025 15:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah thatโs understandable. Annoying, but understandable.
18.12.2025 15:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Are the issues basically solved with approval voting? No issue with too many candidates from a party and thereโs more meaning to minority party supporters engaging. Approval-runoff has been my favorite for single winner for a while now.
17.12.2025 19:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A write in nomination in the general defeats the purpose of this system. The party labels and endorsements piece is a nice touch though.
17.12.2025 19:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Wait so goes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Saint Paul, Minnesota but at the Chicago Tribune? I guess Chicago sorta functioned as the "capital of the midwest" (still does).
17.12.2025 13:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There's a legitimate debate between a 1 year old and a 10 year old. But if given the choice (with no confounding moral factors), we should clearly save the life of a 10 year old over an 80 year old. I often find "bioethicists" have socially harmful views.
15.12.2025 15:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, I don't know the specifics as they would come up in a particular situation. There could be issues with getting sufficient space for the amount of solar capacity needed. Would need energy storage to make it reliable as well. the transmission could be difficult go get approval and permits.
03.12.2025 17:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Look at the replies. Just a sea of humorless robots. He's making an obvious joke vis a vis Fight Club.
03.12.2025 17:42 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think they'd be happy to invest in whatever energy sources are dependable and possible to build out. The problem is it's impossible to build infrastructure for anything a lot of the time.
03.12.2025 17:36 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Seems like they should transition to natural gas.
24.11.2025 13:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One thing that comes through awfully clearly in these ICE videos is how many of these goons gravitated toward the job because being able to assault people with impunity is a big thrill for them.
03.10.2025 21:44 โ ๐ 25773 ๐ 6260 ๐ฌ 116 ๐ 552I just hope by the time I have kids that there are decent and well-known options that avoid the worst of the brain rotting.
03.10.2025 19:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, I have my issues with Weiss, but what kind of criticism is this? She launched an incredibly successful news organization. She was previously at the NYT and the WSJ before that. Seems like it's an attempt to shoehorn something topical into a desired grievance.
03.10.2025 19:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As I've said:
Make the continental US two time zones: American Eastern Time and American Western Time, UTC -6 and UTC -7, respectively. Make the time zone boundaries the eastern borders of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. We'll all adapt and be marginally but appreciably better off.
Hi @jazco.dev I was wondering how hard it would be to include a 7-day rolling average to the stats page you so helpfully created. Would make it easier to see the โreal trendโ over time without the day to day lumpiness.
03.10.2025 18:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah a lot of supplements require an additional supplement to keep things in balance or properly absorbed. Vitamin D requires K2 (for proper absorption). Zinc and copper require each other (imbalance of one or the other will make you sick). B12 might need B9?
03.10.2025 18:26 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You said I feel bad and I said I donโt. Youโve been unpersuasive this whole time because this is just a way for you to get off on being oppositional. I donโt care.
09.09.2025 21:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes, everyone who disagrees with you had to be paid to do so. Yes, everyone who disagrees with you is a child you need to teach since youโre so smart.
You would be completely insufferable to interact with irl and likely only ever convince people to disagree with whatever youโre arguing.
I donโt feel bad at all, actually.
09.09.2025 21:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0โSweetieโ who talks like that? Youโre so weirdly confrontational and anti social. I donโt like Musk or Thiel or Andreesen.
09.09.2025 21:06 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Nope.
