OK, I heard your speech and how you ended it. With the government doing so many awful things it may be hard to cover them adequately in a short speech but you gave trans rights a big shout out. Can you do that to the wider public, not only to a friendly audience like that?

Thanks Vikki, that new 'guidance' seems to be full of such lies and so many conditions to allowing trans kids to be themselves as to make it nearly impossible.
It's common for children to question gender or sexuality with friends before parents, it's how it was with mine, and school should be safe.

The bar to be accepted is always higher for minorities so, although I agree with your logic, a panel of cis adjudicators may choose to be cruel towards a trans person.

The Nazis massacred many groups of people and trans people are very frightened of a repeat now - with good reason after the media's being dehumanising them for ten years, just as they did to Jewish people in Germany in the build-up to the Holocaust.

You evidently haven't been affected personally by any of labour's racist, anti-trans, anti-disabled or other far right policies. They are taking us backwards. That's why they are tanking and Greens are rising at high speed to replace them.

Not necessarily so. The numbers will vary from place to place but, with Starmer destroying Labour and driving voters away, Greens or Lib Dems may be the more serious option - and Greens are building support fast from the vacuum left by Labour.
