Cafe Bar Bilbao, Bilbao 🇪🇦 1st visit. Trying the Plaza Nueva bars today and more adventurous with the pintxos. Octopus & Prawn. Sadly only dreck on tap from Amstel, but this is a fixture of the bar circuit in Bilbao and undoubtedly beautiful tiles. 👍🍺

Mendi Taberna, Barakaldo 🇪🇦 1st visit. Corner neighborhood pintxos bar with a nice selection including Latin American options. Wines like this Izadi clocking in at €1.79-2.80 a glass. Tiles and sports heritage from the district and Bilbao on the walls giving it an identity🍷👍

Saibigain, Bilbao 🇪🇦 1st visit. Listed as a restaurant but it's not at all. Patrician, sure, but casual as you like. Hanging jamon, wooden beams, local heritage. Definitely a sense of old town churn but they can't blame tourists in November: there aren't any except me 🍷👍
