Indeed. I think it's important that all progressive voters in their diversity have the right home for them. Yet the Green Party have so much energy gathering around them - and I find it hard to fault ZP.

Well, obviously how I vote is partially determined by tactical reasons, so I may vote Lib Dem again, my incumbent Lib Dem MP seems decent enough, and even put forward a bill for PR. I'll see what things are like at the next election.

I still think that the Greens should at least work with the LDs.

The Green Party may well be the way forward. The Lib Dems? I don't see them taking off in the same way, but I wouldn't mind them still having a reasonable presence in British politics.

Of course, it's difficult with that joke of a voting system that we still use.

I'm glad that the ancestor of your lovely family got there! But sadly, a lot of people weren't so lucky. The policies of this government is just so cruel. A lot of people flee to other countries due to danger back home, and this scaremongering against immigrants will just lead to more suffering.

My great-grandfather came here as an unaccompanied minor. He was seven years old and his family could only afford to send one person at a time. That was their best hope with things becoming more dangerous for Jews in Ukraine.
