I want to know the groups not just say running a training is enough to say a training is trustworthy at all. That's even moreso when they're collecting names about anything like this.

01.02.2026 16:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think part of the question to me is do you actually have reason to trust a specific group for their sign ups. Is it a long term group that has been doing things and are they having sign ups for a specific known reason or are they just popping up.

(the one other med was "probably MCAS react to, might or might not be anaphylactic, which do you want, flouroqunolones, or something that you have a high risk of anaphylaxis", we went for the anaphylaxis risk, and I reacted in non-ana ways). Still glad we had the last resort if it was ana.

28.01.2026 19:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 01. I'd look at places which foster - they tend to have a lot more information about the dogs in their care and it can be a lot easier to find a good match that way.
2. Make sure you research to find a good match about what you want. Different dogs can vary so much. You want what fits you.
Same dog plushie as in the previous post. Now from the back view, wearing a dark red vest.

Looking down at a brindle dog in a red service dog in training vest. There's bookshelves behind her.
The two main things going on for me (besides recovering from an adrenal crisis ugh) are training with my SDIT who I've started doing outings with and the #FastenOffYAL which I volunteer for because an accessible yarnalong means a lot to me.
So of course I had to make was a little dog plushie.
My friend Sila's service dog is currently hospitalized with an unknown illness and they need help. He is a young happy dog who I love hearing stories about who is suddenly is now ill and needing support to pay for the treatment.

Good literary translation requires understanding (language, culture, genre--on both sides of the translation) and an ability to write well. "AI" can't do that. There are no shortcuts. Treat your work and foreign language readers with the respect they deserve. You won't fool anyone with this.

Alice brought so much to so many of us, itโs hard to measure the kind of gratitude I have for that.

Whenever I have to think about mortality, about the fragility of my body, I want to make things. I want to do traditional art or fiber arts. I want to put something of me into the world.

Wikipedia has a mild conservative bias, as it insists on what it calls 'reliable sources' - which mostly means they have been published by capitalist gatekeeping institutions.
The only reason anybody imagines that it has a liberal or left-wing bias is because it's largely accurate. They hate that.

15.10.2025 00:47 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Is any of this "offensive"? No, but it's instructive. Notice the people blurting "waffles!" above aren't internet randos, like the reply gals that got Jay so upset to start with. They're operators of startups and journalists who were published in the economist, like, last week.
They're an ingroup.
The function of the waffles joke is an in-group signifier. Singal, Graber, and Oppiliappan are showing in-group solidarity; they're all in on a joke. The joke is they have institutional power, and you don't, and they feel contempt for you, that you still want to have opinions about how power's used.

Disability doesn't cause fascism. Colonialism, capitalism and white supremacy do.
You're telling ME and a lot of other people to deny our own disabilities, and not to bother seeing ourselves in kids like yours, and frankly, MY life would be worse and less sustainable if I did that.

And I have learned AT LEAST as much about my own disability from autistic people w/ support needs much higher than mine, as I have from people whose lives look more like mine superficially.
