The ears are posable and I'm very happy with that 😁

I'm not visually impaired but the whole "blind assassin" trope has always struck me as vaguely insulting so he didn't just get disadvantage or whatever - he literally could just about stab something right in front of him with a lucky hit, and that was it.

We did have a blind adventurer for a while, because I told him "don't fuck with that thing, it can potentially mess you up". Naturally he fucked with it and I rolled "blindness" on the random table 😅

Until he managed to get it removed, he was genuinely blind.

I tend to chicken out, to be honest. My world is fairly brutal and the dungeon routinely murders able-bodied adventurers, so anyone with a disability that, y'know, disables them is going to have a rough time. On the other hand, the magic combat wheelchair is also problematic on many levels.

Clearly, the only solution is have everyone carry around a portfolio of naked selfies and show them to anyone who looks even vaguely suspicious of your right to be in a space.

I'm sure constant unsolicited nudes will help women feel safer in public spaces, and that's what it's all about, right??

My very first carving from when I started again as an adult! It's a little goblin man. Notice the eyes that I screwed up multiple times, as well as the ears that are just mismatched triangles surrounded by messy cut lines 😅

You can just about see the beginnings of my later goblin designs though...

I think I'm going to start posting some of my failed or inept early carvings on here. It's easy to forget that we're all posting our best work on here, and there's a long, long trail of failures and practice pieces behind every great artwork!

Obviously the solution is to have a height limit at the lingerie section, like at soft play. That way, tall cis women won't accidentally get mistaken for trans women either and potentially upset the outrage-snowflakes.

We may also have to introduce a restrictive heteronormative dress code too.

Honestly it makes me really happy when my chronic illness friends just say "no" to stuff. Means they're not torturing themselves trying to do a thing on a bad day just because they think they have to!

That is fascinating and wearily predictable in equal measure. A mere ~50% of the world's population will have periods at some point in their lives, but who cares about them, right? Certainly not medical science 😤

Just do weird stuff without explanation until someone asks! 😁 Roll a die, go "hmmm... You feel a crawling sensation on the back of your hand as the veins squirm under the skin into an arcane sigil", then just carry on as if it's no big deal.

Even the most incurious player will crack eventually 😅

Anything that stops arthritis flare-ups should be a human right!

Aaand all is well again 😁 after I gave a trans rose as a gift to a friend (I added a pin back) her partner asked for one in the colours of the lesbian flag. It was quite the tangle but it worked out really nicely!

I'm not making another one for a while though 😅

I at least got it to accept a picture of my face and middle finger, so that'll have to do.
