Creed is some of the most boring, formulaic & cheesy anthem rock that ever was.

Anyone who finds it emotionally moving or musically creative has certainly had their ear drums eaten by vicious little gremlins.

There's definitely a jazz thing there for sure w/ STLJ, but mixed with a lot of intricate, almost Johnny Marr (The Smiths/Modest Mouse) like guitar work, swirled with a lot of noise and dissonance, but in the best way.

Hard to describe, but totally worth a listen!

If you're into horns/saxes showing up in strange places, I'd suggest an indie/math rock band from Chicago called Sweep The Leg Johnny who were around in the early aughts.

I followed 'em like they were The Grateful Dead up and down the California coast whenever they'd make their way through.

I think they might have been trying to be sarcastic, but it appears they are ESL so the intent was lost in translation.

They know whatever BS charges they're alleging are bunk.

It's not about holding journalists accountable for some actual wrong committed. Instead, it's meant make their lives more difficult, & chill any journalist/ism who isn't willing to be their stenographer.

Font looks very similar to what I remember, and it looks like it might be a later edition (if it is in fact the same book) as I seem to remember the copy I had being a solid dark blue woven cover with the dust jacket possibly having the horse on front...

As I understand it, it was a revenge killing for Charlie Kirk, or at least I saw that floating around somewhere.

He's likely angry at the Mormon church because the kid who shot Kirk was from Utah & grew up in a Mormon family, but who knows if he was still actively practicing or not?

I know it's not much to go on, but I think you might be on to something with the horse on the cover. I don't remember the blue bordering, but that definitely doesn't mean it wasn't there though.

The book cover itself was a dark navy blue with a stamped gold inlay that had the title "Fairy Tales" if memory serves.
