Indeed, an excellent film. I need to re-watch soon! Morris was brought in to recreate her hit Broadway performance and as far as I know this is the only movie she ever made.

Remembering Ida Lupino here w/her “godfather” in 1933’s pre-code comedy I Lived with You.
Movie based on Novello’s stage play of the same name. He had the entire stage cast in the film, but replaced the younger daughter character w/ Ida. It was her 4th movie, she was 15, a very mature 15!
