I’m just now learning! Had an epiphany after a cleansing shower rose oil. Realized that I’ve lived a life of deprivation. Not only do I not give to myself, but I don’t like other people to give to me either. I’m planning on going out and picking roses for myself as part of my evening. First time!

Finn told me he smelled a rodent in the van engine. Sadly, I keep a humane electronic trap under the hood 24/7. Have tried catch and release but it has never been successful. I apologized and put the body on the roof as an offering of gratitude for the ravens. They are always thankful

Hoping for sleep. Started with convincing myself everything’s going to be fine. Yes, it may be a lie but self soothing measures initiated along with a double Nighty Night tea and a heaping tablespoon of mugwort steeped with intention. Tomorrow will be better. This is a challenging time for empaths

WTH why are we on the same faulty sleep cycle! My Dr prescribed meds that I’ll try tonight out of desperation. Can’t pinpoint why I can’t fall back to sleep after 1 am. If they sold dime bags of old fashioned Maryjane I’d be all over that.

As a plant based tree hugging nut lover for 52 years, you’d think I’d have mastered making nut milk by now. But no, I have an aversion to nut milk bags (have you ever tried to clean one?) I may have done it this morning! Again with wanting fall flavors, I made maple chia milk. It’s winner!

It’s been a rough month but we made it! Solo disabled senior independent living with critters in the desert can be quite the challenge! A little overwhelmed from everything but we survived and for that I give thanks 🙏
