A brilliant idea! Scrapheap Challenge showcased what could be done with old ICE vehicles and inspired a generation. With more and more EV drivetrains becoming available we need to show that the same is possible.

If Zapheap is half as successful as Scrapheap then the impact will be enormous!

The punishment was fair considering the potential consequences. I think the overly harsh feeling comes from how meaningless other penalties have been recently.

This is what a lot of people don’t understand. Our install was relatively straightforward with only 3 new radiators but still took a week for 3 people.

Ours has 20 power levels from keep warm to rapid boil. You can also combine zones for griddles/teppanyaki or a mode that varies the power depending on position. You can also set individual timers for each zone which is handy.

Neff and Bosch are made in the same factory using the same underlying parts. Neff are a bit more upmarket so tend to get new features first. We have a Neff N90 vented hob (older model not available any more) and it’s been fantastic. As for pans, the Ikea 365+ range is solid and work great.
