I believe that the increase in violence towards citizens on the part of “federal agents” stems from two factors.

1. More of them are J6, Oath Keepers, III Percenters, Proud Boys and the like.

2. The people to whom they report are giving them free rein, perhaps encouragement, to act as they do.
