Waiting for the show to begin

Going to see @bestshow4life.bsky.social 25th Anniversary Tour in Chicago tonight. If my tattoo counts, and I say it does, there will be at least one mouse with a cape in the audience.

I had to work late so we missed the protest in our town. We drove 45 minutes away to one with a later start time. Figured it doesn't matter where so much.

Until today, I was the only name on the car insurance for both vehicles. The insurance company said Courtney didn't need to be listed until she got her actual license. She got it today. We went to the insurance office to add her. My premium went down $3/month. How in the fuck? Not what I expected!

Anyone here going to the Best Show live in Chicago next week?

It legit never crossed my mind to ask or wonder if the event was meant for men to attend as well. I just knew Courtney got us tickets as a thank you from them and no one said anything about me coming when Courtney mentioned it. Anyways, everything was very nice and Courtney is happy.

Courtney donated a painting to a charity that had a big event tonight. I accompanied Courtney to the event. There were hundreds of people in attendance. I shit you not, I was the only dude there that wasn't working or volunteering as usher. To be fair, the event was called "Diamonds and Divas".

For a second, I fully expected the missing part after the first ellipsis to be "ng of the juggalos."

Overall, I drove over 4500 miles over the course of our 2 week road trip to California with the dogs.

We woke up on Friday morning at 8am MDT in a dumpy motel in Evanston, Wyoming. I'm currently writing this at home in Rock Falls, Illinois on Saturday morning at 3:48am CDT. About 1200 road miles. ~17 hours of wheels-on-the-street driving + pit stops.

About halfway through a cross country road trip with Courtney and the pups to visit my mom and step dad. 2000+ miles down, 2000+ miles to go.

All-in, should take me about 8 hours and $50 +gas to get both of our vehicles to our house. Cheaper than having the car transported home, so there's that. Gotta do what you gotta do.

The car is however at the Greyhound station 20 minutes from home, so I'll take my truck there, leave the truck, and drive the car home. Then I'll take a Lyft to the truck. Why didn't I just take a Lyft to the Greyhound in the first place? It was early and there aren't many lyfts in our area.

We bought a car in Northbrook north of Chicago yesterday. Courtney doesn't have her license yet so I had to leave our truck at the dealership and bring the new car home. Now I'm on a Greyhound heading into Chicago. Gonna switch to a train when I get there and I should be at my truck by 1pm.

This is Courtney's car. It's a 2017 Forester.

I don't know all their music but I definitely love Stand because I was a huge fan of Get a Life as a kid.

Even if Trump -is- dead, it's just another distraction. Come back to life and release the Epstein files, you coward!
