For what it's worth I'm a fan of contrast to make different elements stand out. The blackness of the raven with echoes of blue ice would be stunning.

It's a gorgeous kit, a proper bruiser of a mech and hopefully will earn it's place on the battlefield next week.

Ahh, but unfortunately that turns the Seven Hills Women's Institute into 'SHIWI' which is already taken and probably isn't appropriate for the group.

I added a bit of dust just to darken some of the crevices and so I could add a little to his boots. Whilst I was playing I thought I’d get the base colours down on a dreadnought I just built. The dread needs to be a quick job as I want to use him in a game next week. #warhammer #paintingwarhammer

Oh, you need to read the first 5 at least - this is the best guide I've seen to reading order (www.heresyomnibus.com) but up to Flight of the Eisenstein is a must for the rest to make sense. After that pick a legion and read their stuff.

Cheers, I really enjoyed it. It’s a little fiddly but maybe building Bronco tanks has made anything else seem easy. I’ve got a couple more lined up when I finish my wolves.

Saturnine now with head! I’ve just realised the pauldrons aren’t quite straight but that should be a quick fix. Next some highlights on the metal, maybe a couple more markings (I’m thinking a wolf’s head and a VI somewhere) and then some battle damage. #warhammer
