When I was in my early 20s (in the early 90s) I lived in Canada and Walmart bought out the entire Woolco chain and turned them into Walmarts. I had the misfortune to work at Walmart as a cashier. Worst job I ever had. They laid me and my husband off on the same day. No empathy for a young couple.
